Sigh. The internet connection at home has gone belly-up and ISP is struggling to identify problem. So far it’s been 5 days with no connection. I’m sure it’s good for my soul, though.

There was a recent problem with windows updates conflicting with zone alarm that stopped internet access, until either zone alarm was turned off, or the 2nd slider was set to medium security. Since then a new compatable version of zone alarm has been released…
Could that apply to you.. ?

Thanks for that, Bob. The problem is definitely at the router/phone line connection. Have borrowed a router and back up running, but can’t figure out why the old one looked like it was doing the right thing but just wasn’t connecting.
